Making cooking a conversation
Cooking was never meant to be a solo mission. Wether you’re cooking a recipe for the first time or the hundredth, there are inevitably questions that come up or measurements forgotten. The Kitchen is a voice first cooking app built to serve as your new sous-chef. Whenever you need help as you cook through your recipe, all you need to do is ask.
How it works
01
Pick a companion from the broad range of voices and personalities. Each one has their own distinct style. Choose whoever you’d want next to you at the stove on any given day.
03
Start your cooking session! Along the way, you can navigate through the steps with your voice by saying things like “move to the next step,” or ask for reminders like “how much garlic again?” You can even ask for advice like “It’s bubbling a lot… should I turn down the heat?” Your companion has full context on your recipe and will keep track of where you are in the process.
Choose a recipe you’ve been wanting to try or one you have loved for a long time. Use the ‘share to’ feature to add a recipe directly from a blog post or Instagram reel into The Kitchen or import any form of media, like a photo of a cookbook from the import page — it lands in your recipe box, ready to cook.

FOOD
is the foundation of
WELLBEING
Food is so much more than fuel. If we allow it to, the preparation and sharing of food can be a healing ritual.
It is not lost on us that in today’s attention grabbing world, time often feels short. Many of us are searching for opportunities to optimize. One result of our relentless search for efficiency is that the art of cooking is s l o w l y being lost. We no longer linger in the kitchen and watch the hands of generations before us work. We like to see it as a gentle rebellion to slow down and to create a nourishing meal for yourself and the ones you love from the products of the Earth.
Step into The Kitchen and let your little rebellion begin today.
